The continuous output motor having 1,75 HP of the Horizon Omega 309 offers speeds of 16 km/h - gradual in 0,1 km/h steps. The heart rate is indicated either by integrated hand pulse sensors or the integrated receiver with optional chest strap.

The VCS-system guarantees an optimal absorption. This innovative absorption system is based upon elastic shock absorbers of different degrees of hardness on different positions of the running deck. Therefore, the treadmill Omega 309 has a zone which is especially comfortable for running - in the front of the running surface, it is softer (heel strike of the foot); in the back of the running surface, it is harder (pushing the foot).
