Tunturi Crosstrainers & Elliptical Trainers

Tunturi crosstrainers/elliptical trainers are the ideal aid for a total body workout. The upper and lower body are exercised in the same way and therefore the arms, legs, buttocks and hips are strengthened. Tunturi not only place great emphasis on advanced solutions and technical development - design also plays an important role for the Finnish company. Recommendations:
Tunturi's entry-level crosstrainer for beginners is the Tunturi C30 crosstrainer. It is easy-to-use and therefor exercising will be a true pleasure even for the unexperienced. The Tunturi C60 16'' crosstrainer features a 4" colour display and a 40cm stride length. The large, straightforward display shows all relevant training information and route profiles. Tunturi Ergometers

Exercise bikes and ergometers are the classic home exercise machines. Their smooth rotation is easy on the joints and places significantly less stress on the knees than does jogging, for example. They facilitate a cardiovascular training suitable for anyone.
Tunturi ergometerss, unlike conventional exercise bikes, are adjusted electronically and convince with very precise intensity control and high display accuracy. According to national and European standard DIN EN 957-1/5 ergometers must show the user's performance in watts, exercise bikes may indicate an intensity level only. Because of strict precision requirements, ergometer bikes are well suited to the demands of physical therapy.

As it is the case for all sports equipment, there are great differences in features when it comes to exercise bikes and ergometers.

In their 01-2003 issue Stiftung Warentest tested the categroes ergometer, crosstrainer and crosstrainer-ergometer (crosstrainer with precise watt output indication). Test winner in the "ergometer" category was the Tunturi E3 ergometer.
