Basically an excellent scale. Well made and a lot of different measurements. I have some problems with the bluetooth connection. Sometimes the scale seems to drop the connection to the phone. Works better very close. I often have to repeat the measurement.

Having used the Compex 8 for a while, I have found that the Compex 8: Uses mi sensors for all channels which allows ranges to be automatically set for each channel. Allows automatic strength to be set for the channels - unfortunately automatic strength does not appear to be an option for many programs. Allows a usage plan, including physical excersise slots, to be created on the Compex web site and downloaded to the Compex 8 controller. In general I am happy with the Compex 8 and find it a vast improvement over the mi Sport. The only issues I have are: When the controller is in the cover, it cannot be placed in the charging slot - this means one is continually removing/replacing the cover. I am not sure how well the charging case will last over time as it feels a little flimsy and uses a micro USB connector for the controller connection.

Purchased as a replacement for the older version with the handle sensors at the side. Does its job exactly as the previous model but the sensor arrangement at the front is a bit more awkward to use and the attachment at the front takes a bit of getting used to when moving the unit around as it becomes detached if it touches anything. Once you accept the above it is totally functional.

Very good workmanship. Heavy and solid. Very precise since it have small fluctuation of results. I love it. I found suitable to me to use this scale with my Samsung Galaxy S4 (it has internal ANT ) and "ANT weight scale display" app, so I have ability to see my history in phone and upload results to Garmin connect (hello Garmin ConnectIQ).
